The employee will perform the job duties as set forth below.

• Preparing important financial accounting reports.
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Professional and accurate management of accounts receivables, accounts payables, inventory, bank and petty cash accounts.
• Prepare, examine and analyze asset records in the register to review the costs, depreciation, disposal and purchases as well as writing off inventory loses to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Set up and implement internal audit controls aimed at establishing an elaborate financial governance regime.
• Preparing tax returns and ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time.
• Evaluating financial operations to recommend best practices, identifying issues and strategizing solutions for smooth running of activities.
• Offering guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and submit accurate routine reports timely.
• Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts
• Payroll management.
• Perform any ad-hoc accounting/ finance-related duties as may be required or assigned.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications;

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance and or CPA (K)
• At least 3-5 years of work experience in a busy company.
• Must have experience in using QuickBooks.
• Knowledge in preparation of management accounts will be an added advantage.
