Duties and Responsibilities
- Researching and prospecting for potential customers.
- Travelling to different locations and briefing customers about our products and solutions.
- Planning and drafting sales proposals.
- Sending quotations and pursuing these to purchase orders.
- Managing new sales leads, including qualification, response, recording and follow up with the objective of securing purchase orders.
- Addressing customer queries and advising them on various technical solutions.

Desirable Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales / Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent. Or a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with a proven Sales experience.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Sales Executive, Technical Sales Representative, or a similar position in the Sales department.
- Excellent technical understanding of electrical and solar energy product features and benefits.
- Highly motivated individual, excellent in communication, presentation, and negotiation for both B to C and B to B customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely drive both 2 wheel and 4-wheel vehicle makes and models with auto and manual transmission.
- Make deliveries when needed.
- Maintain the office vehicles (including ensuring that routine checks for tyre pressure, engine oil, brake fluid, radiator coolant, fuel level, etc. are carried out).
- Ensure insurance, registration and general service schedules are up to date.
- Maintain daily vehicle logbook.
- Ensure that vehicles are always clean, including the engine compartment.
- Ensure vehicle keys are appropriately maintained and securely stored.
- Ensure that the general wear and tear of fittings of the vehicles are checked and reported for action.
- Ensure that vehicles are always properly equipped with spare tyres, tool kits, jacks, wheel spanners, tow ropes, jump leads, fire extinguishers and first aid toolboxes, etc.
- Ensure punctuality and safety at all times of self and staff passengers.
- Observe road and traffic laws, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure own driving license is always present and valid during official duty.
- Ensure no unauthorized personnel drive and/or; and no contraband/prohibited goods are carried in the vehicle.
- Abide by the authorized driving times; adhere to the laid down departure times for all locations as stipulated.

Desirable Qualifications
- Minimum of secondary school or equivalent.
- At least 5 years driving with experience in long distance; defensive driving skills training will be an advantage with a valid PSV driving qualification.

Job Description
- At least 5 years working experience in installation of UPS, voltage stabilizer/ (AVR), power generators, inverter based power backups, solar energy solutions not limited to solar lighting, solar power backups, solar water heating, grid tie solar etc.
- Possess excellent skills in 1-phase and 3- phase electrical wiring.
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.

Procurement & Logistics Officer.
Power & Solar Systems Limited is seeking to recruit a Procurement & Logistics Officer (PLO). The PLO will be responsible for ensuring that requests are serviced in a quality and timely manner. The PLO will report to and work under the guidance of the Supply Chain and Operations Manager. Accordingly, s/he will manage and ensure the provision of efficient and timely procurement and logistical requirements to the company.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or related field. CIPS or any other procurement certification is desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in procuring requirements of significant complexity and value, with knowledge in both local and international market.
- Excellent people skills with experience in collaborating in a diverse and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
- Timely and duly prepare procurement plans for the office and projects and monitoring of their implementation in collaboration with the respective teams.
- Receive, review and process incoming requests ensuring sufficient clarity on specifications given for goods and services. Confirm any other relevant information from requestors and seek recommendation from technical support team members for related project materials and equipment.
- Coordinate and ensure that all purchases are reviewed and approved in accordance with the authorization matrix.
- Support the Supply Chain & Operations Manager to analyse the local and international market and keep an up-to-date database of international and local suppliers that satisfy Power & Solar Systems Ltd criteria (quality, price, service, ethics, etc.) and needs.
- Organize local transportation of merchandise including choice of transport and packing, planning and monitoring of consignments.
- Organize the physical management of stocks in collaboration with Supply Chain & Operations Manager including periodic inventory stock take or reconciliation, organize periodic stock controls, stock cards and stock monitoring chart and manage the flow of merchandise.
- Maintain records of all transactions, ensuring that an efficient filing system for records of all quotations, procurement process, copies of records of expenditure, receiving reports, receipts, etc. are kept accountable and easily accessible by other users.
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of ordered goods/services and ensure through established procedures that all received goods/services are in accordance with the terms and specifications of the order (quality, quantity, price, deadline, origin, etc.).
- Receive invoices for purchased goods and services and submit to Finance & Accounting with all relevant support documentation for processing.
- Manage motor vehicles.
- Perform other operational tasks when necessary.

Power & Solar Systems Limited is seeking to recruit an Office Assistant. The Office Assistant will be responsible for execution of office administrative duties in a timely manner. The Office Assistant will report to and work under the guidance of the Supply Chain and Operations Manager. S/he will ensure provision of efficient and timely administrative support to the company.
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Receive clients and direct them to the correct staff member

- Co-ordinate and maintain staff administrative records such as staff phones and company credit cards
